HICAC 2025, an event co-organised by the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Society of Construction Law – Viet Nam (SCLVN), brought together construction professionals, legal experts, arbitrators, and academics to discuss the latest developments and practices in construction arbitration as Vietnam is witnessing significant growth in both construction activities and the demand for construction dispute resolution. HICAC 2025 featured diverse domestic and international perspectives, providing valuable insights into legal regulations and practical applications, helping businesses in navigating dispute resolution. In addition, the conference presented networking opportunities to foster collaboration and promote the best practices among international delegates and enterprises. Among its five main Sections, Section A of HICAC 2025 focused on current trends in ADR for construction projects.

On the morning of 30th November 2024, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI-HCM), hosted the CEOs Networking Talk Show on the topic “Using lawyer services in legal management: Current practices and recommendations for the managers” The event was part of the “CEO 4.0 Executive Training Program (2nd Course of 2024)”. The talk show featured insights from arbitrators, mediators and managing partners of leading domestic and international law firms partnering with VIAC, attracting the participation of over 100 CEOs participants.
