Resolution 98/2023/QH15 highlights Vietnam's firm commitment, especially in Ho Chi Minh City, to driving sustainable economic growth by implementing various regulations that encourage investment in green projects. On the basis of evaluating the results of the Investment Legal Support Forum in 2023 and following the success of the 1st Semester in 2024 on public-private partnership (PPP) contracts, VIAC in collaboration with the HCMC Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), under the command of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, continues to organize the Investment Legal Support Forum 2024 – 2nd Semester with the theme “Attracting investors to renewable energy and promoting green economic growth in Ho Chi Minh City”.
With 02 working sessions, the Forum will discuss, filter and make recommendations to solve a number of issues as follows:
1️⃣ Investors selection mechanism;
2️⃣ Cooperation between the State and the Investors in implementing renewable energy projects;
3️⃣ Regulations related to green projects and renewable energy projects in Resolution 98.
This forum is expected to continue to be an effective information and exchange platform among authorities - investors - experts in identifying legal problems, aiming to contribute practical and appropriate solutions for City.
