Investment Legal Support Forum for investors in Ho Chi Minh City 2023

Recognizing the necessity to solve the legal issues to business operations and the requirements from businesses for a channel to exchange in-depth information on this matter, Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) cooperates with Investment and Trade Promotion Centre Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) to hold the annual Investment Legal Support Forum (ILSF). Through this forum, VIAC and ITPC hope to accompany the investors with their businesses in Vietnam and create a connection between business community and competent authorities, supporting investment process in HCMC in particular and contributing to the development of Vietnam’s economy in general.

Investment Legal Support Forum 2023 with the topic "Open up golden opportunities for investors in Ho Chi Minh City under the context of the Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15" will focus on discussing new points, changes as well as opportunities and challenges that arise when applying this Resolution. In particular, two major contents will be discussed at the Forum including:

1. Investment in the form of Public - Private Partnership (PPP);
2. Investment in "green" projects

Resolution No. 98/2023/QH15 is expected to create a "push" for Ho Chi Minh City, opening up a better mechanisms and policies, promoting the economy and maximize the potential of the city. This is not only considered an important key of Ho Chi Minh City, but also a milestone to change the economic picture of the area and the country. Therefore, at ILSF 2023, the issues revolving the Resolution including opportunities, challenges, and effective implementation solutions will be discussed. VIAC and ITPC expect that the Forum will bring valuable information and positive contributions to the business community in general as well as investors investing and doing business in Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
