Nov 20, 2024With the goal of disseminating information about the 2024 Land Law to the foreign-invested business community operating in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as discussing and addressing legal issues arising from the law and providing recommendations for investors when it takes effect, on the morning of July 17, 2024, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) cooperate with the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) organized the seminar "Land Law 2024: Solutions for investors to utilise the opportunities"
LNC 2024: Lawyers skills in managing arbitration procedures
Nov 12, 2024On July 13, 2024, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) collaborated with the University of Law in Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association, with the support of the Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Can Tho Bar Associations to organize the Lawyers Networking Conference 2024. The conference was a great success, with over 150 lawyers attending in person in Ho Chi Minh City and over 400 participants joining the event online.

[LMS2024] Energy Sector: Seminar "Tourism in Binh Thuan Province: Pathway to green transition for sustainable development"
Nov 12, 2024On November 6, 2024, in Binh Thuan, the Binh Thuan Tourism Association, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and the Binh Thuan Union of Science and Technology Associations successfully co-hosted the seminar “Binh Thuan tourism: The green transition path to sustainable development”. The event was attended by over 100 representatives from local management agencies, experts, and businesses in Binh Thuan province. The seminar also marked the final event of the LMS 2024 (Legal Management Series 2024), which is organized by VIAC and partners.
Mediation in arbitral proceedings: Neutral third parties’ roles and influences on resolving disputes
Nov 11, 2024On April 5, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Vietnam Mediation Centre (VMC), in collaboration with the University of Economics and Law, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City (UEL), organized the workshop on “Mediation in arbitral proceedings: Neutral third parties’ roles and influences on resolving disputes”.

Nov 11, 2024On March 29, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) collaborated with the School of Law, College of Economic, Law and Government (CELG), University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) to successfully organize the seminar titled “The execution of arbitral award and issues arising from the third parties” . The workshop attracted nearly 100 participants in the hall, including many lawyers, lecturers, and enforcement officers, and recorded over 200 attendees online.

In-depth Seminar on Dispute Resolution in Logistics by Arbitration in Hai Phong City
Nov 08, 2024With a view to developing the competence, knowledge and professional skills of members of the Hai Phong Logistics Association (HPLA) in the context of international integration, based on survey results of the interests of the HPLA’s member businesses, the Journal of Democracy and Law and the Ministry of Justice have collaborated with the HPLA and the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) to organise the In-depth Seminar on Dispute Resolution in Logistics by Arbitration. The seminar was held on November 2nd in Hai Phong City.
