At the meeting, VIAC presented its 2024 activity report to Arbitrators and Mediators, highlighting growth in commercial dispute resolution through arbitration and mediation as well as expansion in promotional and training activities.
Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh, President of VIAC, also shared VIAC’s future aspirations and operational plans. Vietnam’s arbitration system is facing great growth prospects, as globalization across all sectors — particularly in the commercial sector with emerging economic models such as digital transformation, green economy, and circular economy — gives rise to increasing disputes. This reinforces greater expectations and confidence in arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism in the new economic landscape, alongside litigation.
