VIAC and VCCI welcomed Korean delegation exploring cooperation opportunities in Vietnam

On the morning of October 29, 2026, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in coordination with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI - HCM), welcomed a delegation from Jeju, South Korea, on an official working visit to Vietnam. The meeting served as a forum for the parties to exchange key market insights, evaluate the local business environment, foster institutional and business linkages, and discuss potential cooperation across trade, investment, education and training, as well as research and development.

On the morning of October 17, at the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), the Division of Training for International Integration Lawyers under the Faculty of Lawyer Training, Judicial Academy, organized a specialized thematic session entitled “Skills for Participating in Dispute Resolution by Arbitration at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC)”.

VIAC met with Deputy Minister of Justice – Mr. Mai Luong Khoi to Discuss the Development of Commercial Arbitration and Mediation in Vietnam

On 16 October 2026, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) had the honour of welcoming and meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Justice, led by Deputy Minister Mai Luong Khoi, with the participation of senior representatives from the Department of Judicial Support, the Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement Management, and other relevant units. Representing VIAC at the meeting were Prof. Dr. Le Hong Hanh - President of VIAC; Mr. Vu Anh Duong - Permanent Vice President cum Secretary General of VIAC; Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai - Director of the Vietnam Mediation Centre (VMC); and representatives of VIAC’s professional departments.

On the morning of October 14, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) welcomed and engaged in an exchange session with a delegation of students from the Faculty of International Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law (ULAW). Organised as an observational study visit for ULAW students, this recurring collaborative initiative with VIAC gives students firsthand exposure to real-world professional practice in arbitration.
