VIAC OFFICIALLY ESTABLISHES VIAC ADVISORY BOARD WITH 10 EXPERTS: A STRATEGIC MOVE IN INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION PROCESS

SINGAPORE CONVENTION WEEK 2026 – “LET’S TALK ABOUT VIETNAM: ARBITRAL REFORM, THE VIFC AND THE CONSTRUCTION LAW 2025”

As part of Singapore Convention Week 2026, VIAC, YKVN Singapore, and SCLVN will organize the event “Let’s Talk About Vietnam: Arbitration Reform, the VIFC and the Construction Law 2025” on August 27, 2026, in Singapore. The event will bring together experts in arbitration, construction law, and international legal practice to provide updates on notable developments in Vietnam’s arbitration reform, the VIAC Arbitration Rules 2025, the establishment of the VIFC, and the Construction Law 2025, while discussing their practical implications for investment, construction, and dispute resolution activities. VIAC x ADRVN: VAS Crossover 2026 – A Series of Talk shows on Specialised Arbitration 

As part of VIAC’s Arbitration Series, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and ADR Vietnam Chambers (ADRVN) will co-organize “VAS Crossover 2026 – A Series of Talk Shows on Specialised Arbitration” from September 11 to October 31, 2026, via Zoom. The series will bring together arbitrators, arbitration practitioners, in-house counsel, business representatives, academics, and young professionals to exchange insights on recent legal developments, sector-specific dispute risks, procedural innovations, and practical approaches to dispute resolution. VIAC WELCOMES THE CANADIAN BAR ASSOCIATION AND VIST PROJECT DELEGATION

On the morning of 1 July 2026, at its headquarters, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) welcomed and held a working session with a delegation from the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and the management team of the Vietnam Trade Integration Support Initiative (VIST) to discuss opportunities for cooperation between the parties.

The meeting took place in an open and substantive atmosphere, with a strong focus on practical value. The alignment between the objectives of the VIST Project and VIAC’s current strategic priorities, including enhancing the quality of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services, developing specialized legal human resources, improving the legal and institutional framework, and promoting gender equality is expected to create opportunities for effective joint programs in the coming period. These collaborative efforts would contribute to strengthening Vietnam’s legal environment, enhancing investor confidence, and supporting the country’s sustainable economic development. [See More]

VIAC works with the Canadian Bar association

VIAC VISITS AND WORKS WITH THE HANOI BAR ASSOCIATION

On the afternoon of 3 July 2026, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) paid a visit to the Hanoi Bar Association to extend its congratulations to the newly elected Executive Board and hold a working session with the Association.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed and assessed the cooperation activities carried out during the previous term and discussed plans for a new phase of cooperation, with a focus on expanding the scope of collaboration and promoting more substantive and effective cooperation. [See More]

TRAINING CONFERENCE ON CONTRACT DRAFTING, NEGOTIATION, AND EXECUTION SKILLS, AS WELL AS DISPUTE RESOLUTION, AND THE SIGNING CEREMONY OF THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AND THE VIETNAM INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION CENTRE (VIAC)

With the aim of strengthening the legal and contractual skills of businesses, and in implementation of Plan No. 28/KH-UBND dated 26 January 2026 on the implementation of judicial sector tasks in 2026 and Plan No. 90/KH-UBND dated 26 February 2026 on the implementation of the Inter-sectoral Legal Support Program for Small and Medium sized Enterprises and Business Households for the 2026 – 2030 period in Ha Tinh Province, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Ha Tinh Department of Justice jointly organized a training conference on contract drafting, negotiation and execution skills, as well as the resolution of disputes arising from contracts.

As part of the Conference, a Signing Ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties was also held, with the aim of promoting their cooperative relationship and strengthening coordination across various areas between the two organizations [See More]

VIAC AND VCCI-HCM SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZE CEO DIALOGUE 2026: “CEO DECISION-MAKING IN A VOLATILE ENVIRONMENT: LEGAL PERSPECTIVES TO PROTECT BUSINESSES AND MINIMIZE DISPUTES”

As part of the annual CEO 4.0 Executive Training Program organized by VCCI-HCM, on the morning of 25 July 2026, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), in collaboration with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM), successfully organized a CEO Community Dialogue under the theme “CEO Decision Making in a Volatile Environment: Legal Perspectives to Protect Businesses and Minimize Disputes.”

The program brought together participants from the CEO 4.0 Course 2026 Cohort, as well as lawyers and in house legal professionals, who exchanged insights on common legal risks arising in the course of business operations [See More]

The event brought together technology experts, digital transformation leaders, and cybersecurity practitioners to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by AI for businesses in Vietnam, key digital transformation trends shaping industries, as well as cyber resilience strategies that organizations should adopt to maintain security and competitiveness in an increasingly digital environment.
